It is a joyous occasion when everything comes together for a wedding. I mean this from a photographic perspective. Every wedding I've ever captured has been an honour, particularly as I have a life goal to never photograph divas (Mariah Carey, Ann Widdecombe, those sorts), but sometimes all things converge and I get to enjoy the Holy Grail of wedding photography. Leon and Jax had what I would consider to be the perfect wedding. Every ingredient was present in abundance - a focus on celebration over formality, a wide range of wonderful humans of all ages, an incredible location (with a moat it should be noted), stunning weather, and great food, drink and foot stomping/rump shaking music.

What sent this particular wedding into good times hyperspace, however, was the way Leon, Jax, their families and all their guests welcomed myself and my right-hand man Tom Nolan into the matrimonial fold. They had no obligation to, but they were just good people and that made for one incredible day. I'd like to extend extra special thanks to both Leon and Jax for not only letting me do my photographic thing at their wedding, but also for their incredible patience and graciousness as they had to wait for way longer than normal for their pics due to a health related issue and subsequent hospitalisation on my part. They were nothing but incredible and supportive throughout and even had the goodness to say that waiting for the pics made them even sweeter. Upon receiving the snaps, here's what they had to say:

"Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! These are so full of joy! Thank you from the depth of our bellies and toes for sharing so many delightful pictures with us! You  helped with the magic of the day and we had many compliments about how great you were. We will be recommending you with highest regard!"

Leon and Jax I salute you.
