JADE & CHRIS' NORFOLK WEDDING
Jade and Chris got in touch after a friend of theirs saw some wedding photos I had taken last year. We met up for Korean food and after being introduced to Bibimbap the deal was sealed. On August 17th I got to capture their astonishingly relaxed/loving/beautiful wedding in Norfolk and boy was it a complete belter.
It all happened in the building and grounds of a bizarre and awesome country house called Voewood. Immaculately kept yet mind-blowingly interesting, each room had a different theme and was packed to the gills with fascinating artwork, trinkets and rare memorabilia. Word on the street is the owner made a mint buying up and selling first editions of famous books which later funded this masterful dwelling.
The wedding day itself was a dream from a photography point of view. There was not a single line up shot scheduled in and the brief was to capture the day in my style. There are no sweeter words to hear than those. It meant the day was not only exciting (as all weddings are), but it was also a right laugh from start to finish. Jade and Chris were the most consistently joyful and engaging couple I've taken pictures of and that was infectious. I made friends that day and I've even been invited to the J & C's halloween party where I plan to go as an American werewolf or a giant baby.
This was an incredible and memorable day which I'd like to repeat many times. When I met up with Jade and Chris to show them the pics and eat tasty food they said I had completely exceeded their expectations - the type of feedback that makes all the late nights completely worth it. Jade, Chris, family and friends - thank you. Here's the day in pictures.
